In the week following the New England Forest Rally, and the subsequent announcement that Boris Said and Pat Moro would round out the field of qualifiers, Otis Dimiters and I learn that we are the first alternate for the rally car racing competition in X Games 13.

X Games Photos & Wrap-Up

Tanner Foust - X Games Rally Winner

Tanner Foust and Chrissie Beavis (SYMS) took first place overall, leaving second place to Ken Block and Alex Gelsomino. Third place went to Travis Pastrana and Christian Edstrom, who competed for bronze against Ramana Lagemann and Mark Williams.

Antoine Out, Otis In

Just got some news from our man on the scene, Andrew Harvey, that Antoine L'Estage has damaged his car on the big jump this morning in practice, and Otis Dimiters has been called in to replace him.  X Games television coverage is now on ABC, with the rally contest to be aired live in a few hours.

Sunday Morning Update

Practice was due to start at 8am this morning, but as of 9:40 the dirt portion of the track - and the big jump - was still being constructed after yesterday's MotoX racing.
