The head-to-head pairings have been announced for the X Games Rally. Last years winners - Pastrana, Block, and McRae - all get a bye into the quarter-finals, along with current Rally America Championship leader Andrew Pinker . The following teams will have to battle for the remaining spots.

It was another exciting day at the Home Depot Center, with Ramana Lagemann making a triumphant return in a battered but repaired DSG Mitsubishi EVO. The local body shops will be kept busy, however, as Antoine L'Estage rolled his Hyundai Tiburon and will need to go for extensive repairs. Contrary to earlier reports, the car will be ready for Sunday competition.

Comrie-Picard (ACP) after practice today at the 2007 X Games for some insight on wine, great hair, and X Games Rally.
FOC: What quality would you like to have, that the other has?
AP: I wish, I had ACP’s taste for red wine.
ACP: I would like to be able to be exceptionnaly cool under pressure.
