L'Estage Wins Third Year in a Row!

Crw_3288 As teams pulled into the first service of the day today, the long hours put in by crews overnight had apparently paid off. Many cars were sporting tarmac setups for the all tarmac stages run first, and those who had suffered problems yesterday were now in much better shape.

Spy Shots: New Car for Patrick Richard

Rocket Rally Impreza

We stopped in at Rocket Rally today and spotted a new 06/07 style Impreza in the works for shop owner and multi-time Rally America and Canadian Champion, Pat Richard. It will be great to see him return to the stages. The car Pat campaigned for the last few years has been bought by Canadian 2WD veteran, Gord Olsen.  With reports of Jon Nichols now running an EVO...perhaps the old Olsen/Nichols rivalry will continue in AWD cars!

This weekend Flatovercrest will have coverage from Rallye Defi-Ste.Agathe, and our daily coverage of the Targa Newfoundland will begin Sunday!
